YTL Platinum Plus Auction's rules for
buyers help ensure that transactions at YTL Platinum Plus Auction
are safe and hassle-free. The following activities are not permitted
on YTL Platinum Plus Auction:
Violations of these policies may result in a range of actions,
including:
- Listing cancellation
- Limits on account privileges
- Account suspension
- Forfeit of YTL Platinum Plus Auction fees on cancelled
listings
To report a policy violation:
- Find the link to report a violation on the policy page.
- Include the appropriate information, including any relevant
emails and with full descriptions in the subject line.
- Only report a case once; multiple emails about the same
case slow an investigation.
Notes:
- YTL Platinum Plus Auction will consider the circumstances
of an alleged offense and the user's trading record before
taking action.
- If a complaint can't be proven with certainty, YTL Platinum
Plus Auction may take no action.
- Due to privacy issues, it is not possible for YTL Platinum
Plus Auction to discuss the results of an investigation.

Transaction Interference
|
- Members are not allowed to interfere with another member's
transaction.
- Members may not contact a seller and offer to purchase
a listed item outside of YTL Platinum Plus Auction.
- Members are not permitted to email buyers in an open
or completed transaction to warn them away from a seller
or item.

Invalid Bid Retraction
|
A bid is a binding contract. Except under
special circumstances, bid retraction is not permitted. Furthermore,
misuse of the bid retraction option to manipulate the bidding
process is not permitted. This includes any manipulation of
the bidding process to discover the maximum bid of the current
high bidder or to uncover the reserve price. Please contact
us to report a trading offense.
Inappropriate or excessive bid retraction harms the marketplace.
It is unfair to buyers who are placing legitimate bids and it
can harm sellers by driving away legitimate bidders. Bid retraction
undermines trust in the marketplace, since a bid is a binding
contract between the seller and the buyer. Please bid responsibly.

Offers to Buy or Sell
Outside of YTL Platinum Plus Auction
|
YTL Platinum Plus Auction prohibits email
offers to buy or sell listed items outside of the YTL Platinum
Plus Auction Web site. Offers of this nature circumvent YTL
Platinum Plus Auction's fee structure and are a potential fraud
risk for both buyers and sellers.
Some examples of outside of YTL Platinum Plus Auction offers
include:
- Using information obtained through YTL Platinum Plus
Auction to offer to buy or sell a listed item outside of
YTL Platinum Plus Auction.
- Canceling a listing to sell to a buyer who became aware
of the item through YTL Platinum Plus Auction.
- Ending a listing early to sell the item at a higher price
to the winning bidder.
- Offering to sell an item to a bidder in a Reserve Not
Met listing.
- Offering to sell duplicate or additional merchandise
to underbidders.

"YTL Platinum Plus Lounge"
, situated on the Relish Floor of Starhill Gallery, has been
specially reserved by YTL Platinum Plus Auction as a meeting
point for buyers and sellers to view and exchange goods and
payments safely.
"YTL Platinum Plus Lounge" will be opened everyday
between the hours of 10am and 10pm. Buyers and sellers are advised
to set up a mutually convenient time to meet between these hours. |
